Find out why you're losing your hair

then treat it properly.

Understand your hair loss. Treat it with a plan.

Hair loss can be frustrating, confusing and sometimes deeply upsetting.

You may notice more hair coming out when you wash it, a widening parting, a receding hairline, thinning around the temples, or simply that your hair doesn't feel as thick as it used to.

But hair loss isn't always caused by one thing.

Genetics, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal changes, stress, certain medications, medical conditions and scalp health can all contribute.

That's why at Aesculus Clinic, we don't believe in simply recommending the same treatment to everyone.

We investigate first. Then we treat.

Our comprehensive Hair Restoration Programme combines advanced diagnostics with personalised in-clinic treatments and home support to help us understand what may be contributing to your hair loss and create a plan specifically for you.

Why am I losing my hair?

This is often the first question our patients ask us.

And unfortunately, there isn't always one simple answer.

Hair loss and thinning can be influenced by a number of factors, including:

  • Genetics and family history

  • Iron or ferritin levels

  • Vitamin and nutritional deficiencies

  • Hormonal changes

  • Perimenopause and menopause

  • Thyroid function

  • Stress and significant life events

  • Illness

  • Certain medications

  • Scalp health

  • Age-related changes

  • Male or female pattern hair loss

Sometimes several factors may be contributing at the same time.

Instead of immediately recommending a treatment, our approach is to build a better picture of what is happening first.

More than a course of hair treatments

PRP, exosome-based treatments and other regenerative approaches may form part of a hair restoration plan.

But treatment is only one part of the picture.

If there are underlying factors contributing to your hair loss, we want to identify them too.

The Aesculus Hair Restoration Programme brings investigation, treatment and home care together into one structured programme.

Your programme includes:

✓ Comprehensive Hair Loss Consultation

We begin by understanding you.

We'll discuss when your hair loss started, how it has progressed, your medical history, medications, lifestyle, nutrition, hormonal changes, family history, previous treatments and anything else that may be relevant.

✓ Blood Testing

Blood testing can help us identify potential nutritional, hormonal or medical factors that may be contributing to hair shedding or thinning.

Your results are reviewed as part of your overall hair assessment rather than looked at in isolation.

Where appropriate, we'll discuss any findings with you and advise on the appropriate next steps.

✓ Hair Genetic Testing

Your genetics can influence how your hair behaves and how susceptible you may be to certain patterns of hair loss.

Our genetic hair assessment provides additional information that can help us understand your individual hair profile and further personalise your treatment and home-care recommendations.

✓ Advanced Scalp & Hair Analysis

Your scalp matters just as much as your hair.

We assess the scalp and hair to look more closely at areas of thinning, hair density and the overall scalp environment.

This also gives us a useful baseline so that we can monitor your progress throughout your programme.

Your personalised treatment plan

Once we've gathered your information and reviewed your investigations, we create your individual Hair Restoration Plan.

Rather than automatically giving every patient the same treatment, your programme is tailored according to your assessment.

Your programme includes six in-clinic hair restoration treatment sessions.

Depending on your individual needs, these may include:

PRP Hair Treatment

Platelet-rich plasma uses components derived from your own blood and is administered to targeted areas of the scalp as part of a regenerative approach to supporting hair follicles.

Exosome-Based Hair Treatment

Exosome-based treatments can be incorporated into a regenerative scalp programme to support the environment surrounding the hair follicles.

Combination Treatment

For some patients, we may recommend a combination approach throughout the programme rather than relying on one treatment alone.

The treatment recommended to you will depend on your consultation, assessment, investigations and clinical suitability.

Your hair programme, step by step

01. Investigate

We start with your consultation, blood testing, genetic assessment and scalp analysis.

02. Understand

We bring the information together to develop a clearer picture of the factors that may be contributing to your hair concerns.

03. Personalise

Your treatment and home-care plan is created around your individual findings.

04. Treat

You'll receive personalised in-clinic hair restoration sessions, which may include PRP, exosome-based treatments or a combination approach.

05. Support

You'll receive a home hair-care kit selected to complement your clinic programme and support your hair and scalp between appointments.

06. Monitor

Hair restoration takes time. We'll monitor your progress and review your response throughout your programme rather than simply completing a course of treatments and sending you on your way.

Your treatment doesn't stop when you leave the clinic

What happens between your appointments matters too.

Your programme therefore includes a personalised home treatment kit to support your hair and scalp throughout your treatment journey.

Your recommendations may vary depending on your individual assessment and findings.

We'll explain what to use, how to use it and why we've recommended it.

Because we don't want you leaving with another collection of products you're not sure how to use.

Why investigate before treating?

Imagine two people both experiencing hair thinning.

One may have a strong genetic predisposition.

Another may have nutritional deficiencies, hormonal changes or another contributing factor.

They may look as though they have the same problem, but that doesn't necessarily mean they should receive exactly the same plan.

That's why we don't believe hair loss should be treated with a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our aim is to understand as much as we reasonably can about your hair before deciding how best to support it.

Who is the Hair Restoration Programme for?

The programme may be suitable for women and men experiencing concerns such as:

  • Gradual hair thinning

  • Increased hair shedding

  • A widening parting

  • Reduced hair density

  • Thinning around the temples

  • Early male or female pattern hair loss

  • Hair changes associated with hormonal changes

  • Hair that feels noticeably thinner than it used to

  • Patients who have tried multiple products without understanding the underlying problem

  • Anyone who wants a more comprehensive approach to their hair loss

Not every type of hair loss is suitable for regenerative treatment.

If we identify something that requires further medical assessment or a different treatment pathway, we will discuss this with you.
